Introduction
Name: xingtu
Type: heavy-duty electric autonomous truck
Company: DeepWay
Design: pininfarina shanghai
Backed by: baidu
Such an automatic truck will be introduced in the future. Pininfarina has designed the Jingdu, a smart, new energy-heavy automatic truck aimed at automating highway mainlines. Supplied by Deepway, a company backed by Chinese Internet company Baidu, the truck is equipped with 11 internal cameras, an infrared detector, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and a LIDAR sensor. Long-distance detection is greater than 1 km.

ENABLES END-TO-END AUTONOMOUS DRIVING
Deepway xingtu has four main advantages: in-depth intelligence, in-depth performance, in-depth design and space features. Based on Byte’s automated driving technology, Deepway’s Highway Intelligence System (HIS) enables autonomous driving from end to end in 100 milliseconds. In terms of in-depth performance, tests have shown that the wind resistance coefficient is less than 0.35, which effectively reduces the overall energy consumption. At full load, the 450kWh battery pack can travel up to 300km on a single charge and can be charged in an hour and replaced in six minutes.
The design team ensured that the lightweight integrated battery and chassis design minimized wind resistance and made it stable and easy to operate. Pininfarina incorporates its unique Italian design DNA into the form of this future heavy truck, with a strong focus on aerodynamics creating elegant and clean lines, enhancing 50 years of experience in the industry since its wind tunnel opened in 1972.
Much attention was paid to the interior, where the intelligent cabin was developed to serve as a second home for long-distance drivers. With intelligent voice assistant, large touch screen infotainment system and ultra-comfortable seats and beds, truck drivers will enjoy a more comfortable work and living environment on the road.
